Wilma Irene Fitzwater, 88, of Cumberland, MD died Friday, August 6, 2010 at Allegany Nursing & Rehab in Cumberland. She was born August 19, 1921 at Lost City, WV and was the daughter of the late Israel and Nannie Rissey Fitzwater. A 1940 graduate of Bruce High School in Westernport, MD and a 1941 Catherman's Business School of Cumberland graduate, she had worked at Westvaco of Luke, MD, ABL in Cumberland, and in 1986 retired from the Social Security office in Cumberland. She never married and attended the Church of the Brethren in Westernport. MD. Surviving are - Cousins - Freda & Eldridge Kerns of Paw Paw, WV Eula Myers of Paw Paw, WV Clara Marie Brelsford of Delaware Second cousins - Linda Hunter Sharon Fair Mike Myers Kevin Brelsford And a special caregiver who was like a granddaughter, Vickie Logsdon The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw, WV. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with Eldridge Kerns officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, August 10 at Rest Haven Cemetery at Harrisonburg, Virginia.
