William Eugene Lewis, 73, of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at his home.

He was born July 21, 1949 at Romney, West Virginia and was the son of the late William Davis Lewis and Sarah Rachael Corbin Lewis.

He was a Veteran, having served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 – 1970.  He had worked for Maco, Vesuvius and retired from Shockey Brothers in Winchester.  His favorite pastimes were woodworking and hunting.  He also enjoyed Harley riding, and frequently rode to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.

On October 29, 1976, he married Laurie Ann Evans Lewis, who preceded him in death on November 7, 2014.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue in Paw Paw, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, with Pastor Marshall Carter officiating.

Interment will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery at Spring Gap, Maryland.
