Mr. William Ernest "Ernie" Grimm, 87, of Timberville, VA died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was born August 19,1925 at Smoke Hole, WV and was the son of the late William George Grimm and Elizabeth "Bessie" Helmick Grimm. He had worked at Aileen Clothing Mfg. in Edinburg, VA On October 30, 1959, he married Edna VanMeter Grimm, who survives. Also surviving are - Four daughters - Elizabeth Ann Wilson of Timberville, VA Jayne (& her husband, Butch) Grim of Singers Glen, VA Mary Alice (& her husband, Gary) Hottinger of Upper Tract, WV Rebecca "Becky" (& her husband, Ray) Ritchie of Fulks Run, VA Four sons - David Grimm of Timberville, VA Craig Grimm of Timberville, VA Ray (& his wife, Tina) Grimm of Broadway, VA Willy (& his wife Chasity) Grimm of Dayton, VA One sister - Hazel Hinkle of Woodstock, VA Eleven Grandchildren Eight Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, West Virginia with Rev. Bruce Cosner officiating. Burial will be at the Gutherie Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home.
