William Douglas George, Sr., 76, of Little River, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.

He was born July 1, 1946 at Baltimore, Maryland and was the son of the late Gladden William George and June Kimble George Greenawalt.

He was a truck driver and had worked at Marshall's.

On May 24, 1975, he married Nola Lynn Bloch George, who preceded him in death on May 31, 2011.

Grandchildren –

Connor George, Brandon George, Amber George, Lillian, Alexandria, Suzie, Arianna and James

Numerous cousins, a nephew and a niece

A host of friends including his special friend, Wanda

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 7 at Cherry Hill Cemetery, 123 Schmucker Road, Upper Tract, WV with Pastor Jess Felici officiating.
