William Nevin "Buster" Waybright, Jr., 67, of Franklin, WV and formerly of Boyer, WV, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born September 20, 1952, he was the son of the late William Nevin Waybright, Sr. and Millie Ryder Waybright.

Buster was a 1970 graduate of Green Bank High School and a 1974 graduate of Glenville State College. He worked for the Bank of Marlinton from 1974 – 1976 and then for Enviro Energy.  His career as a car salesman began at Bartow Motors.  After moving to Franklin, he operated Franklin Motors, worked at Lou Ziegler Ford, re-opened Franklin Motors, and was a sales rep for Mitchell Chevrolet. Buster loved talking to people and was active in the community.  He served on the Franklin Town Council.  His love for antique cars lead him to organize the Treasure Mountain Festival Antique Car, Truck, Tractor and Engine Show for 24 years – a show that has now appropriately been named after him.  He enjoyed bowling and adored his children and grandchildren.

Buster is survived by –

His wife - Pamela Sue Conn Waybright, whom he married August 31, 1996.

Benjamin Burke-Ash, Kayleigh Brock, Lucas Ash, Riley Ash, Dalton Ash, Aidan Ash, Jessica Judy, Kayla Judy-Scheibner and Kyle Judy

One great-granddaughter –

He was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Waybright.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday with Pastors David Rittenhouse and Julian Rittenhouse and Elder David Hartman officiating.

Those attending the service on Saturday are encouraged to dress casually and, weather permitting, drive their antique vehicle to the service as a tribute to Buster.
