William K. "Bill" Miller, Sr., 81, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Devlin Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cumberland, Maryland, due to complications of Parkinson's Disease.

He was born May 12, 1935 at Mountaindale Orchard near Paw Paw and was the son of the late Rodney A. and Glenna Sirbaugh Miller.

Mr. Miller was retired from PPG Industries, was a life member of the NRA, previously served on the Paw Paw Town Council and was a member of DeFord Lodge No. 88 AF & AM.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.

On May 17, 1953, he married the former Freda Kay Hardy, who survives.

Mary Miller, Jeffrey Miller, Vince Kidwell, Andrea Ritchie, Joshua Miller, Jeremiah Miller and Christopher Miller

Thirteen great-grandchildren

Two step-great-grandhildren

Susie Whitacre of Paw Paw

And a special friend and caregiver –

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald N. Miller.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday, January 22 at Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to the Paw Paw Volunteer Fire Dept., P. O. Box 15, Paw Paw, WV  25434.
