Wilbert (Willy) Galliher, 78, of Paw Paw, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born November 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Pinkney and Agnes (Twigg) Galliher and grew up in Green Ridge Station, MD.   He graduated from Oldtown High School, Oldtown, MD in 1960.  On March 30, 1968, he married Janet Betson Galliher, who preceded him in death on July 13, 2005.

He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.  In 1968, he was sent to Vietnam and was honored as a sharpshooter.  Sadly, he contracted many health issues due to Agent Orange.

Wilbert worked at several companies, including Schmidt's Bakery in Cumberland, and he later retired from Medaesco in Winchester, VA.

Three step-grandchildren –

Jeffrey Crabtree, Sharon & Wesley Roach

Several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends

He was preceded in death by a brother, Arley Galliher and a sister, Virginia Brown.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Friday, November 27, 2020 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Paw Paw, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday with Pastor Earl Travis officiating.

Interment will be at Camp Hill Cemetery.
