Wesley Michael Teter, 38, of Franklin, West Virginia passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.

Wesley was born August 2, 1983 at Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of Jackie Teter (Sisson) of Arbovale, West Virginia and William Sisson of Proctor, West Virginia.

Wesley was a 2002 graduate of Pendleton County High School and Petersburg Vo-Tech, where he studied masonry for 2 years.  He had a love for hunting, gingsenging, four wheeling, mushrooming and fishing.

His grandfather, "Pap, Jake" Teter and paternal grandfather, Reford Simmons, preceded him in death, along with two uncles, Timmy Teter and James Teter.

Wesley was taught and learned many life skills during his young age.  His grandfather, "Pap, Jake" taught him how to work and do the best when doing it.  During his senior year in high school he travelled to Moorefield, WV and worked at Pilgrim's Pride as a night crew employee.  He won 2 ^nd place in the WV Vo-Tech Masonry competition in 2002.

After graduation, he was an employee with BENCO Construction in the construction of Corridor H.  While working for locals building fence, namely Armstrong Fencing, the Northern Virginia Daily published an article on Wesley building fence in Linville, VA.  He also worked for Jonathan Eye, Rusty VanMeter and Billy Copley.  He was currently employed by Lowry Logging, Monterey VA.  Mr. and Mrs. Lowry thought of Wesley as another son.

Wesley was a kind, caring, and loving young man.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Kyle Apple and Elders David and Jay Hartman officiating.

Pallbearers will be-

Allen Lowry, Brad Lowry, Richie Hicks, Jim Hinkle, Bradley Bennett, Rockie Waybright and Butch Hise

Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin.
