Wayne W. Warner, 85, of Franklin, West Virginia died Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Harrisonburg Health & Rehab.

He was born January 15, 1936 at Cherry Grove, WV and was the son of the late Foster Warner and Avis Waybright Warner.

He was a graduate of Circleville High School and a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.  Wayne was a heavy equipment operator and had worked at the Bath County, Virginia pumped storage project.

Foster Warner of Gaithersburg, MD

Eight grandchildren

And two great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his companion, Mary Alice Eye McCray; two daughters, Mary and Lorraine, and a sister, Leona.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 5 at the Harper-Hammer-Warner Cemetery.
