Mr. Walter Burris Mullen, Jr., 63, of Franklin, WV died Friday, July 23, 2010 at his home. He was born May 1, 1947 at Millville, New Jersey and was the son of the late Walter B. Mullen, Sr. and Kathleen Macken Mullen. He had worked as a maintenance engineer in Northern Virginia and also worked at Rocco Poultry. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam from 1965 - 1969 and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. On February 7, 1970, he married Maria Rizzo Mullen, who survives. Also surviving are - Three daughters - Tracey (& Brian) Judy of Upper Tract, WV Michelle (& Josh) Mullen of Moorefield, WV Nichole Mullen of Franklin, WV Two sons - Walter Nathan (& Sandra) Mullen of Nettie, WV Christopher Mullen of Franklin, WV One sister - Catherine Bevelle of New Jersey Five grandchildren - Tyler, Jared, Sarah, Bethany, Joseph(& Amanda) The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:00 PM Monday with Rev. Sam Harper officiating. Members of the Pendleton County Honor Guard will conduct military services at 7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
