Tommy William Wise, 72, of Franklin, WV passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

He was born on January 21, 1953, at Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of the late William Irvin Wise and Cora Lynn Painter Wise.

Tommy was a 1971 graduate of Franklin High School.  He served in the U.S. Army, where he assembled Hawk missiles. After graduating from the Hobart School of Welding in Troy, Ohio, he worked as a welder, and in later years, especially enjoyed working in that trade alongside his son.

On March 6, 1982, he married Judy D. Johnson Wise, who survives.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Wise.

His body has been cremated and the family will commemorate his life privately.
