Mr. Theodore V. "Ted" Puffenbarger, 69, of Brandywine, West Virginia died Friday afternoon, December 11, 2009 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was born January 6, 1940 at Brandywine, West Virginia and was the son of Lester Puffenbarger of Brandywine and the late Verna Mitchell Puffenbarger. He was a farm mechanic for Early Equipment Company and had also worked for Harrisonburg Redi-Mix. He was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church. On June 22, 1961, he married Karen Guyer Puffenbarger who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Krista Ressin and husband, Larry of Harrisonburg, VA One son - Aaron Puffenbarger and wife, Penny of Brandywine, WV One brother - Billy Puffenbarger of Brandywine, WV Six grandchildren - Latisha Cook, Kaitlyn Ressin, Kylee Ressin, Michael Puffenbarger, Brenita Puffenbarger and Jessi Puffenbarger And one great-grandson - Camden Goldin The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where a funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 PM Sunday. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Clover Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Cindy Skinner officiating. John Mullins, Rick Neil, Mark Morgan, David Miller, John Miller, Quinten Dove and Jason Miller will serve as pallbearers.
