Thelma S. Nesselrodt, 84, of Franklin, WV died Friday, February 14, 2020 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

She was born April 18, 1935 at Blue Grass, VA and was the daughter of the late William Leo Samples and Mabel Clara Gum Samples.

She had worked at Aileen Garment Company in Monterey, VA and was a member of Harper's Chapel United Methodist Church.

On February 26, 1954, she married Bobby Lee Nesselrodt, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2017.  A son, Douglas Nesselrodt (1954 – 2005) and a brother, Carl Samples also predeceased her.

Kenneth Nesselrodt (& Vanessa) of Amherst, VA

One great-granddaughter –

Maddie Grace Nesselrodt

And a daughter-in-law –

Christina Simmons of Brandywine, WV

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, where Rev. Andre Crummett will conduct a funeral service at 12:00 Noon.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
