Sylvia Mae Midkiff, 83, of Franklin, WV passed away Friday morning, September 17, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born June 28, 1938 in Ranger, Lincoln County, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Roy and Gladys Fulks.

She was a homemaker, a member of Christ Central Community Church and a member of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed the mountains, reading and her home, adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and most importantly spending time with her family.

She is survived by –

Alice Thomas of Natchez, MS

Three grandchildren –

Katlyn Boyd (& John)

Garrett Applegate

And three great-grandchildren

She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.  A brother, James Fulks, and two sisters, Delores Mays and Janet Leach, preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 21 at Green Valley Cemetery, 1384 Bowen Creek Road, West Hamlin, WV with Pastor Chad Clark officiating.
