Shirley Lou Sabota, 89, of Marlinton, West Virginia passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.

She was born November 11, 1932 at Pittsburgh, PA and was the daughter of the late John A. Young and Geraldine (Laving) Young.

She was an LPN.

One son -

William Edward Sabota, Jr. of Marlinton

Two daughters -

Linda Barnett of Fredericksburg, VA

Maryann Prescott of Fredericksburg, VA

A half sister -

Bertha Silverling of Ohio

Ten grandchildren

Three great-grandchildren

And one great-great-grandchild

Her body has been cremated and her family will commemorate her life privately.
