Shirley Mae Rowzee, 83, of Paw Paw, WV passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born May 21, 1936 at Paw Paw and was a daughter of the late William T. Jamison and Mary L. Hutson Jamison.

Shirley graduated from Old Town High School and attended Strayer University.  She had worked at Montgomery Ward and the Senior Life Center.  She was an active member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church, where she was a deacon and leader of Bible studies.  She served as financial secretary for the Paw Paw Fire & Rescue, was an EMT and wrote the community news for The Hampshire Review.

On May 5, 1956, she married Paul DeWayne Rowzee, who survives.

Douglas Rowzee (& Terrilynn) of Ridgely, WV

Robert Rowzee (& Sherry) of Paw Paw, WV

Sixteen grandchildren

And twelve great-grandchildren

Preceding her in death were a brother, William Jamison, and a sister, Lillian Balsley.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw, WV.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, June 10 at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church with Pastor Darlene Powers officiating.

Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.  Justin Rowzee, Dominic Montessi, Dustin Rowzee, Dylan Rowzee, Hunter Lambert and Andrew Rowzee will serve as her pallbearers.
