Sherry Lynn Kile's Obituary
Sherry Lynn Kile, 55, of Franklin, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
She was born August 25, 1961 at Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of Violet K. Armentrout Hevener of Pendleton Manor in Franklin and the late J. James Hevener.
A 1979 graduate of Franklin High School, Sherry was a homemaker and had worked as a cafeteria buffet server at Montgomery Ward in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was a member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and was active in the Ladies Aid.
She is survived by -
Her husband, David Kile
Two daughters -
Cassandra Kile of Parkersburg, WV
Kathleen Kile of Franklin, WV
Three brothers -
Leon Hevener and his wife, Geraldine of Upper Tract, WV
Steven Hevener and his wife, Rita of Franklin, WV
Hal Hevener and his wife, Tina of Brandywine, WV
A sister-in-law - Evelyn Ratliff Hevener of Upper Tract, WV
Several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Camela Dawn Mitchell and her husband, Charles of McGaheysville, VA
And her cat, Angel
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Wagoner, and a brother, James "Dwight" Hevener.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 6 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7 at Walnut Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Loudermilk, Rev. Leon Hevener and Rev. Hal Hevener officiating.
Interment will be at Kline Cemetery at Upper Tract.
A luncheon will be served to the family and friends beginning at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, June 7 in the fellowship hall of Walnut Street United Methodist Church by the Ladies Aid of that church.
Charlie Mitchell, Eric Hevener, Don Harris, Hal Hevener, Jeremy Robinson and Garreth Hevener will serve as her pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Walnut Street United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 638, Franklin, WV 26807.
