Shawn P. Dick, Sr., 32, of Paw Paw, WV (formerly of Frostburg, MD), was unexpectedly called to Heaven on Feb. 1, 2022 near Staunton (Augusta County), VA.

Shawn was born Aug. 10, 1989 in Cumberland, MD and was the son of Virginia S. "Ginny" (Stevenson) Dick of Frostburg, MD and Michael K. Dick of Parksley, VA.

In 2007, Shawn graduated from Fort Hill High School, and in September 2009, he joined Clarysville Volunteer Fire Company 14, where he became Chief in 2014.  Shawn also began working for Burgmeir's that same year, and worked there until 2017.  He went to work at Makco, Inc. in May 2017, and that's where he was working when he was called home. He was a member of the Paw Paw Vol. Fire Dept., and was a hard-working man who was dedicated to his family every day.

Steven Beeman (girlfriend, Kim Crane) of Grantsville, MD

One sister –

Peggy Moats (wife, Sara) of TX

Maternal grandmother –

Wilma Wink "Nana" Stevenson of Midland, MD

His father-in-law and mother-in-law –

Raymond and Angela Kenney of Paw Paw

A sister-in-law –

Rochelle "Sis" (Kenney) Heward (husband, Russell "Clint" McLamb) and their children, Serenity and Skyler, of Paw Paw

Darlene Dick of Parksley, VA

And many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who will miss him deeply.  He was very loved by everyone.

His maternal grandfather, Robert "Bob" Stevenson of Midland, MD preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2022 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Paw Paw where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 8 with Makco, Inc.'s Vice-President, Stephen Cagle officiating.
