Sarah Rachel Lewis, 84, of Oldtown, MD, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Golden Living Center at Cumberland, MD. She was born August 7, 1924 at Romney, WV and was the daughter of the late Les Corbin and Carrie Edna Orndoff Corbin. She was a homemaker and attended the Bethel Assembly of God Church at Oldtown. On August 17, 1947, she married William "Bud" Lewis, who preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by - Two sons - William "Bill" (& his wife, Laurie) Lewis of Paw Paw, WV Larry (& his wife, Debbie) Lewis of Oldtown, MD Three daughters - Joy (& her husband, Harold) Cutter of Oldtown, MD Deb (& her husband, Sam) Holliday of Berkeley Springs, WV Edna Lewis of Springfield, WV Three sisters - Hazel Shingleton of Winchester, VA Myrtle Haines of Winchester, VA Nancy Lewis Haines of Winchester, VA Six grandchildren - Wade Cutter, Brad Lewis, Melinda Holliday, Danielle Bender, Michelle Holliday and Shane Holliday Three great-grandchildren - Brant Hogbin, Eston Bender, Avery Cutter Three step-great grandchildren - Christia McGee, Tylor Weller and Nick Weller Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Bethel Assembly of God Church at Oldtown, MD with Pastors Fred Parker and James Stemple officiating. Burial will be at the Branch Mountain Cemetery at Three Churches. Brad Lewis, Danny Weller, Sam Holliday, Dennie Cowgill, Eston Bender and Shane Holliday will serve as her pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Bethel Assembly of God Church at Oldtown.
