Mrs. Ruth Marie Harold, 91, of Upper Tract, West Virginia, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, West Virginia. She was born February 26, 1918 at Upper Tract, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late James Arthur Hedrick and Nona Lough Hedrick. She was a 1938 graduate of Franklin High School and was a seamstress, having worked at the Franklin Garment Factory during the late 1960's and early 1970's. She was a member of the Upper Tract Presbyterian Church, former member of the Upper Tract Extension Homemakers and the Upper Tract Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, and had volunteered for many years in the Country Store during Treasure Mountain Festival. In 1939, she married Shyrl Harold, who preceded her in death on September 4, 1968. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Ray Hedrick, on April 7, 1936. She is survived by - One daughter - Frances (& husband, Kenny) Lawrence of Cross Junction, VA Two sons - Estel (& wife, Rosemary) Harold of Falling Waters, WV Roger (& wife, Carol) Harold of Martinsburg, WV One grandson - Jeremy Lee Harold of Belington, WV Two nieces and several cousins Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, West Virginia. Burial will be at the Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home.
