Ruth Virginia Gruber, 69, of Ashburn, Virginia, died on Friday, September 11, 2009 in Ashburn. She was born March 24, 1940 in Smoke Hole, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late George Vernon and Minnie Judy Shreve. She moved to Sterling, VA in 1977 and began her career as a Realtor with Dulles Properties in Sterling. Ruth is survived by her six beloved children: Todd Mowery of Circleville, WV Tracy Mowery of Manassas, VA Beth Mowery Dunn of Leesburg, VA Karl Mowery of Circleville, WV Becky Helms of Denver, CO Allen Gruber of Sterling, VA One brother - Alonzo Shreve of Smoke Hole, WV Eight grandchildren Two great-grandchildren And a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 15 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 16 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2009 at St. George's Log Church in Smoke Hole, West Virginia with Pastor Glenn Sites officiating. Interment will follow in the Shreve Family Cemetery, Smoke Hole, West Virginia.
