Mrs. Ruby Mae Butcher, 78, of Brandywine, West Virginia passed away Friday morning, June 6, 2014 at her home. She was born November 5, 1935 at Weston, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late James and Violet Townsen. She was a homemaker. On November 15, 1980, she married Ammon G. "Butch" Butcher, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Patty Ables of Dayton, VA Two stepdaughters - Beth Ann Santee of Akron, OH Lana Mae Butcher of Akron, OH One stepson - Eric Scott Butcher of Newton Falls, OH And two grandchildren - Brian Kesterson and Chrissy Shumaker Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Cynthia Skinner officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM (the service hour) at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
