Roy Stephen "Steve" May, 63, of Franklin, WV passed away late Thursday night, April 5, 2012 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. He was born July 6, 1948 at Fort Seybert and was the son of the late Roy Elmer May and Myrtle Dahmer May. Steve was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School and attended Shepherd College. He worked in real estate for Ben Hiner, had worked for Dixie Gas and was a painter. He had a passion for genealogy and local history and was a member of the Franklin Moose Lodge #769. Preceding him in death were - One brother - Bobby L. May Two sisters - Barbara A. Wimer and Louise Gaffrey Steve was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Steve's wishes were that his friends join together on a Sunday to share memories and celebrate his life. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. A Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Rev.
