Rosalie Frances Buzzard, 74, of Huttonsville, WV passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at her home. She was born January 16, 1940 at Warm Springs, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Elmer Mines, Sr. and Lucille Ford Mines Stephenson. Rosalie worked as a cook at restaurants in Elkins, Marlinton and throughout Pocahontas County. On December 20, 1956, she married Arch June Buzzard who preceded her in death on May 6, 1988. Surviving are - Three daughters - Lottie (& her husband, Thomas) Pyles of Marlinton, WV Carolyn (& her husband, Freddie) Cochran of Buckeye, WV Dottie Buzzard of Buchanan, VA Four sons - Scottie (& his wife, Shirley) Buzzard of Marlinton, WV Mike (& his wife, Patricia) Buzzard of Montpelier, VA Elmer "Ike" (& his wife, Liliya) Buzzard of Carrollton, VA Timmy (& his wife, Audra) Buzzard of Craigsville, VA One sister - Jerry (& her husband, Irving) Shifflett of Ruckersville, VA Twelve Grandchildren Eight Great-Grandchildren And One Step-Grandchild Rosalie was preceded in death by a stepmother, Audrey Mines, three brothers, Elmer Mines, Jr., Ralph Mines and Danny Carter and three sisters, Jean Hickman, Judy Haney and Connie Berry. Mrs. Buzzard has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home, 18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, WV with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.
