Roland "Odie" Eugene Kaylor, 85, of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, Maryland.

He was born February 29, 1932 at Paw Paw, West Virginia and was the son of the late Thomas Harley Kaylor and Sarah Ann Robison Kaylor.

A 1951 graduate of Paw Paw High School, Odie was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He worked for Avon Products, Inc. and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after thirty years of service in Paw Paw and Winchester.  Odie was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Paw Paw.

On May 23, 1958, he married Anita Strosnider Kaylor, who survives.

Stephen E. Kaylor (and Tina) of Cumberland, MD

Douglas A. Kaylor (and Janet) of Lavale, MD

Two sisters-in-law –

Verna Viereck of Mason Neck, VA

Barbara Kaylor of Leesburg, VA

Six grandchildren – Donnie Kaylor, Stephen Kaylor II, Angela Carlile, Sarah Sines, Brianna Kaylor and Tyler Cassidy.

Five great-grandchildren – Stephen Kaylor III, Alivia Kaylor, Kierra Kaylor, Megan Bridges and Landan Sines

And several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by an infant son, an infant daughter, two brothers, Robert Kaylor and Donald Kaylor and one sister, Ann Norton.

His wishes were that his body be cremated and services and inurnment at Camp Hill Cemetery will be private.
