Robert Edgar Propst, 57, of Franklin, WV passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at the home of his sister.

He was born February 7, 1963 at Fort Bragg, NC and was the son of the late Dona Sheldon Propst and Ruby Truelove Propst.

He attended Franklin High School and worked for Rockingham Precast.  Prior to that he worked as a mechanic, and excelled at that.  Rob had a passion for working on motors, and loved rebuilding engines for local truck pulls.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Rob enjoyed being with his family and friends, and especially treasured the time he spent hanging out with his best friend, Kevan Hoover.  Rob was a member of Franklin Moose Lodge #769.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Schroll.

His body has been cremated and his family will commemorate his life privately.
