Mr. Robert H. Holloway, 89, of Upper Tract, WV died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, West Virginia. He was born January 30, 1923 at Ruddle, West Virginia and was the son of the late John McKee Holloway and Ola Mae Hedrick Holloway. He had worked for John Miller Produce and was a laborer for pipeline and construction, was a member of #984 Laborers Union Clarksburg, WV and #175 Teamsters Union. After retirement, he enjoyed working at Mallow Farms. On July 24, 1946, he married Edith Alt Holloway, who preceded him in death on September 21, 2007. Surviving are - One daughter - Mildred & her husband, Max Propst of Franklin, WV Two sons - Wayne R. & his wife, Carol Holloway of Franklin, WV Craig D. Holloway of Upper Tract, WV Seven grandchildren And eleven great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Also preceding him in death was a daughter-in-law, Theresa Berg Holloway. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, West Virginia with Pastor Sam Harper officiating. Interment will be at the Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Kimble Funeral Home.
