Robert Lee “Bobby” Elyard, 66, of Brandywine, West Virginia passed away Friday, October 9, 2026, at his home.

He was born on September 17, 1960, in Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of the late Harold and Lillian Elyard.

He was a graduate of Turner Ashby High School. His first job was working as a truck driver at Rockingham Redi-mix. He later became an OTR truck driver, owning and renting out his trucks to different companies. He had been in every state in the contiguous United States except Michigan.  He and his wife enjoyed watching football and baseball.

Bobby was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

His wife, Pamela Kay (Dean) Elyard, survives.

His body has been cremated, and interment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
