Robert Curtis "Bob" Carr, 75, of Paw Paw, WV died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. He was born September 10, 1939 in Paw Paw, West Virginia and was the son of the late Charlotte Mae Kline-Carr and Melvin Curtis Carr. He attended Paw Paw High School and James Rumsey Vo-Tech Center. Bob was a Baltimore City Police Officer for fifteen years and also worked at Plumleys Lumber Company and Ron McDoles Furniture Company in Winchester. He was a Morgan County School bus driver and had worked for National Fruit. He loved playing the mandolin and listening to bluegrass music. On November 25, 1991, he married Perla Pestolaro Carr, who survives. Also surviving are - One daughter - Annette Yvonne Carr (and friend, Paul David Roach) of Paw Paw One son - Robert Curtis Carr II of Cleburne, Texas One sister and brother-in-law - Irene & Mark Stewart of Augusta, WV One brother - Dennis W. Carr of Charles Town, WV Two grandchildren - Rebecca Carr of Inwood, WV Austin Carr of Paw Paw, WV Two step-grandchildren - Brooklyn and Bradyn Tomlinson of Cleburne, Texas A niece - Terry Carr of Westminster, MD And two nephews - Thomas Powers of Utah Chris Carr of Charles Town, WV In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Bruce Carr of Florida; one niece, Vicky Lynn Foster of Fredricksburg, VA; one nephew, Joseph Lyndell Powers of Paw Paw and his grandparents, Jenny and Joseph Kline and Wilfred and Martha Carr. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2015 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw, West Virginia with Pastor Mike Collins and Eldridge Kerns officiating. Interment will be at Camp Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (the service hour) on Monday, March 16 at Kimble Funeral Home. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Berkeley Springs Humane Society.
