Mr. Richard C. Soper, Sr., 79, of Brandywine, West Virginia died Monday, June 1, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, West Virginia. He was born June 15, 1929 at Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late Milburn Soper, Sr. and Jennie Marie Bayline Soper. He operated Soper Brothers Upholstery. He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Brandywine Christian Church and the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard, and he enjoyed spending time at the Pendleton Senior and Family Services Center in Franklin and volunteering at Pendleton Manor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Diehl Soper on May 7, 1993. He was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Soper, Jr., two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by - One daughter and son-in-law - Tammy and Eddie Propst of Brandywine, West Virginia Three sisters - Ruth Garner Jennie Hepburn Betty Birts Four brothers - Calvin Soper Louis Soper John Soper Jack Soper And three grandchildren - Rick Johnston Chris Johnston Tyler Propst Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin with Pastor Scott Meadows officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens at Timonium, MD. The family will receive friends at the Kimble Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 3. Memorials may be made to the family, c/o Tammy Propst, P. O.
