Richard Howard Hoover, 79, of Franklin, WV passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin where he had resided for eight years.

He was born July 8, 1939 at Brandywine, WV and was the son of the late Russell H. Hoover and Hazel D. Fultz Hoover.

A 1957 graduate of Franklin High School, he worked in a Washington, D.C. warehouse and at the Wampler Poultry Plant.  Richard was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Brandywine.

One brother –

Jerry R. Hoover (& Peggy) of College Park, MD

And a number of nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where a funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jason Felici officiating.
