Joseph Armand "Rene'" Belanger, 69, of Harrisonburg, VA died Monday, November 17, 2014 at RMH Sentara. Mr. Belanger was born January 3, 1945 in Quebec, Canada and was the son of the late Emile and Marie Jean Belanger. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring after 22 years of service. He had worked at both Timberline and Canaan Valley ski slopes. On November 25, 1995, he married Wilma Elizabeth Tingler Belanger, who survives. Also surviving are - Two stepdaughters - Melody Strait of Canaan Valley, WV Velora Anderson of Springfield, VA Four step-grandchildren And one step-great-grandson Mr. Belanger has been cremated and all services are private.
