Reba Simmons Wiseman, a resident of Winter Haven, Florida and a former resident of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away at the age of 93 on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida.

She was born July 5, 1928 at Zigler (Pendleton County), West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Albert Ross Simmons and Levie Susan Lambert Simmons.  She lived her early life in the Smith Creek community, and was a 1946 graduate of Franklin High School.  She later moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia where she was employed by Troy Laundry and James Madison University.  Reba was a member of the Sunrise Church of the Brethren and a life member of the Rion-Bowman V.F.W. Post 632 Ladies Auxiliary in Harrisonburg.

On August 29, 1949, she married Eugene R. Wiseman of Keezletown, Virginia.  The couple resided in their home at 1750 West Market Street in Harrisonburg for forty-eight years before moving to Winter Haven with their son and daughter-in-law in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband on February 9, 2010.  Two sisters, Norma Warner and Erma Alice Waggy, and a brother, Jesse Guy Simmons, also predeceased her.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street in Franklin, West Virginia where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor J. D. Glick officiating.

Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin.
