Phyllis Regina Rouzee, 93, of Sterling, VA and formerly of Paw Paw, West Virginia passed away Sunday, March 23, 2013 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland. She was born March 4, 1921 in Cumberland, MD and was the daughter of the late William Dayton Ambrose and Clara Josephine Youngblood Ambrose. She was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy and had worked in the school library in Frederick, MD. Phyllis was Methodist by faith. On October 20, 1945 she married James H. Rouzee, who preceded her in death on August 26, 1984. Surviving are - Two daughters - Regina Brack of Paw Paw, WV Vickie Lurie of Fleming Island, FL One brother - John Ambrose of Chesapeake, MD And one granddaughter - Jessica Miller She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert William Ambrose and one sister, E. Bernice Thompson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home,188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw with Rev. Darlene Powers officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM at Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw. Interment will be at Camp Hill Cemetery at Paw Paw with military graveside services conducted by members of the Tri-State Veterans Honor Guard.
