Mrs. Pauline Virginia Kile, 90, of Upper Tract, West Virginia, died Friday, November 12, 2010 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. She was born April 13, 1920 at Hinton, VA and was the daughter of the late Wilson Arthur Lambert and Mollie Vernon Ruddle Lambert. Along with her husband, they owned and operated Kile's Service Station. In addition, she was employed by Simmons Cleaners, Hanover Shoe Company, Franklin Garment Company, Avon and National Analyst. She was a member of Christ Central Community Church, Petersburg Garden Club, Upper Tract Home Demonstration Club, Upper Tract Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Petersburg Post #78 and was an avid painter. On November 16, 1940, she married William Harlan Kile, who preceded her in death on December 31, 2008. She is survived by - One daughter - Christine Kile of Upper Tract, WV One son and daughter-in-law - William & Beverly Kile of Petersburg, WV One sister and brother-in-law - Jean & Ken Wilson of Clinton, MD Five grandchildren - Cassandra Richards, J.T. Swick, Ashley Stump, Clayton Smith and Sydney Smith Four great-grandchildren - Emily Richards, Chelsea Richards, Ziva Swick and Rylan Stump A brother, Carl Judy, and a sister, Treva Wermuth, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Christ Central Community Church at Upper Tract, West Virginia with Pastor Sam Harper and Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. David Kile, Steve Kile, Jim Kile, Brad Kile, Walter Simmons and Clayton Smith will serve as her pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
