Mr. Paul E. DeRossett, 75, of Marlinton, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He was born August 18, 1938 at St. Charles, Virginia and was the son of the late Paul E. DeRossett and Mary Flanery DeRossett. Paul was a welder, having owned and operated Consolidated Welding Shop and Supply in Marlinton from 1987 - 2007. He was a Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, was a pastor and attended Rhema Christian Center in Lewisburg, WV. On April 2, 1977 he married Loretta Wriston DeRossett, who survives. Also surviving are - Two daughters - Debbie Bowden of Inverness, FL Cathy Condra of Lecanto, FL One son - Timothy DeRossett of Beloit, WI Two stepsons - Kenneth Schubeck of Lewisburg, WV Kevin Schubeck of St. Petersburg, FL Three sisters - Marie Spang of Seminole, FL Anne Dixon of Augusta, GA Nellie Robinson of New Port Richey, FL Fifteen grandchildren Eleven great-grandchildren Preceding him in death was one sister. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Kimble Funeral Home, 18942 Seneca Trail, Marlinton, WV. A memorial service will be conducted at Kimble Funeral Home at 7:00 PM Friday with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating.
