Patricia A. Smith, 64, of Brandywine, West Virginia passed away Saturday afternoon, December 22, 2012 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. She was born June 19, 1948 at Stancil Chapel, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Franklin Payne and Polly Bailey Payne. She was a certified nursing assistant, having worked at Pendleton Manor. On Feb. 15, 1991 she married Gene W. Smith, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 24, 2011. She is survived by - One daughter - Wendy Crider and her husband, Bobby of Brandywine, WV One son - Shane Eye and his wife, Becky of Donoro, PA One brother - Edward Payne of California One half-brother - James Earl Bailey of North Carolina Four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters She was cremated and all services will be private.
