Otis Harper, Jr., 89, of Sugar Grove, WV passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at his home.

He was born February 28, 1931 at Dry Run (Franklin), WV and was the son of the late Otis Harper, Sr. and Ella Sites Harper.

He was a 1949 graduate of Franklin High School, a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, worked at Hevener Motor Equipment Company, retired as a supervisor from the WV Dept. of Highways on December 31, 1988 and was a farmer.  He was a member of Totten Chapel United Methodist Church, Franklin Ruritan Club, American Legion Pendleton Post #30 and Sugar Grove V.F.W. Post 9666.

His wife, Janet Bowers Harper, preceded him in death on December 11, 1982 and he is survived by his wife, Patricia Shaw Harper, whom he married July 10, 1988.

Dr. Brent Glover, Breena Johnson, Britteny Glover, Brooke Glover, Dr. Brian Glover, Brandon Glover, Josh Harper, Elliott Harper, Alexxia Walton, Phillip Harper, Attorney Garrett Harper and Sophia Harper

And thirteen great-grandchildren

An infant brother and a sister, Lucille Bowers, predeceased him.

A private graveside service and interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin, WV with Pastors Jerry Smith and Chris Westbrook officiating.
