Orville Coolidge Mowery's Obituary
Mr. Orville Coolidge Mowery, 92, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at his home.
He was born October 27, 1924 at Reeds Creek, WV and was the son of the late Dayton Mowery and Edith Streets Mowery.
Orville was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a sawyer and worked on the pipeline and construction. He was a farmer and had been a truck driver for Fred Burgoyne. He was a member of the South Branch Ruritan Club and American Legion.
On July 18, 1947, he married Audrey Alt Mowery, who survives.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Mowery and Craig Mowery, a grandson, Garrett Hevener, a brother, Gordon "Trig" Mowery, three sisters, Mabel Flanagan, Viola "Toots" Shreve and Thelma Hedrick.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2017 in the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.
Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract with military graveside services conducted by members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mountain Hospice, P. O. Box 416, Franklin, WV 26807 or South Branch Ruritan Club, 387 White Oak Drive, Upper Tract, WV 26866.
