Ona Dale "Jim" Hoover, 78, of Franklin, WV passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

He was born March 15, 1939 at Dahmer, WV and was the son of the late Ona Virgil Hoover and Minnie Olive Propst Hoover.

He had worked for Hanover Shoe Company and H & L Logging and was a member of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church.

On May 20, 1961, he married Carolen "Jane" Bennett Hoover, who preceded him in death on December 28, 2013.

Two brothers –

Milton Keith Hoover (& Madeline) of Franklin, WV

Rodney Hoover (& Shirley) of Sugar Grove, WV

Three grandchildren –

Davina Warner, C. Payton Barr and David G. Warner II

He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Harper and a son-in-law, Christopher Barr.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 28 at Kimble Funeral Home where a funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.

Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery near Franklin.
