Oma Lee Munson Sparks, 89, of Graniteville, South Carolina and formerly of Paw Paw, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta, GA. She was born November 22, 1924 in Paw Paw, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Jacob L. Parrill and Laura Saville Parrill. She had worked at Cut-Sole Tannery, Mountain Dale Orchards and Consolidated Fruit, all of Paw Paw, and the last five years of her employment was with National Fruit in Winchester, VA. She was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. On July 31, 1945, she married Lawrence Munson, who preceded her in death on January 5, 1999. On June 21, 1970, she married William Sparks, who preceded her in death on October 22, 2011. Surviving are - One daughter - Martha Crumpton (& her husband, Jimmy) of Graniteville, SC One stepdaughter - Billie Carol Harrison (& her husband, Jerneal) of Richmond, KY Five sons - Andrew Munson (& his wife, Rita) of Graniteville, SC Mark Munson (& his wife, JoAnn) of Graniteville, SC Daniel Munson (& his wife Shari) of Martinsburg, WV Wayne Munson (& his wife, Sandy) of Salley, SC John "Doug" Munson (& his wife, Sharon) of Paw Paw, WV One stepson - David Sparks (& his wife, Jan) of Mercersburg, PA Twenty-three grandchildren And twenty-two great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by two brothers - Bill Parrill and Ernest Parrill and two sisters - Emily Myers and Ethyle Creswell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Paw Paw with Advanced Presiding Elder Mark Faith and Presiding Elder David Mundey officiating. Interment will be at the Ginevan Cemetery at Okonoko, WV. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 15 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw, West Virginia and also for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
