Myrtle P. Johnson, 80, of Franklin, WV died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at her home. She was born May 25, 1929 at Franklin and was the daughter of the late William Claude Johnson and Alpha Susan Hartman Johnson. She had retired from Hanover Shoe and was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church. She is survived by - A daughter and son-in-law - Judy and Tommy Wise of Franklin, WV A brother - Leo Johnson of Hillsboro, WV A grandson - Tommy William Wise, Jr. And a special great-nephew - Jordan Marshall She was preceded in death by six brothers - Robert Johnson, Roy Johnson, Maurice Johnson, Brozie Johnson, Arvel Johnson and Roscoe Johnson and by one sister - Margie Simpson Clower Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin with Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Franklin. Mike Johnson, Lynn Warner, David Evick, Michael Harman, Bennie Mitchell and Carlton Warner will serve as her pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Kimble Funeral Home. A meal will be served at the Franklin Main Street United Methodist Church basement following the interment. Memorials may be made to the Franklin Rescue Squad, P. O.
