Morris Lee Mallow, 91, of Upper Tract, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.

He was born August 4, 1930 in Franklin, West Virginia and was the son of the late O. R. Mallow and Sara J. (Riggleman) Mallow.

Morris attended Franklin High School and married Mary Sue (Heavner) Mallow on August 18, 1949.  Morris and his wife "Sue" built a large farming operation in the Upper Tract area, as well as being prominent in the trucking industry.  He faithfully attended Mt. Hope Lutheran Church, and more recently the Upper Tract United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his wife of 72 years, Mary "Sue" Mallow; one son, Michael Burgoyne; one daughter, Margaret (Maggie) Burgoyne Harper; two brothers, John M. Mallow and Stanley R. Mallow; two infant sisters, Elaine Virginia Mallow and Anna M. Mallow; one grandson, Ryan Harper; and one step-grandson, Bobby Morford.

Friends may call to pay their respects at any time on Monday, May 9 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

There will be no visitation and all services will be private.
