Michelle Ann Simmons, 62, of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home.

She was born August 29, 1963, in Waynesboro and was the daughter of Patricia Shaw Harper of Waynesboro and the late Lee Grail Simmons.

Michelle was a 1981 graduate of Waynesboro High School and pursued a CNA degree at Blue Ridge Community College.  She had worked at Blue Ridge Christian Nursing Home in Stuarts Draft, at Target and a consignment shop. Michelle loved watching tv, working with flowers and crafting. She had a passion for dogs and cats.

Friends will be received at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, West Virginia from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Saturday, May 16.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 16, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating.
