Michael Scott "Scottie" Kerns, 50, of Paw Paw, WV passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.

He was born July 6, 1967 at Cumberland, MD.

Scottie was a laborer at the salvage yard in Paw Paw and operated the Wrenwood Inn Bed and Breakfast with his companion and the love of his life, Carol McPherson of Paw Paw.  He was a member of the Paw Paw Christian Church.

A number of aunts, uncles and cousins

Caden and Sariah Griffin

He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Kerns, his maternal grandmother, Darla June Gordon Kerns and his paternal grandparents, Baker and Inez Kerns.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Paw Paw, where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM  with Pastor Earl Travis officiating.

Interment will be at Camp Hill Cemetery in Paw Paw.
