Maxine Carrie Wimer, 82, of Franklin, WV passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA.

She was born July 24, 1935 at Cave, WV and was the daughter of the late Oak Hartman and Pauline Virginia Elza Eye.

She worked at a dry cleaners in Newark, Ohio and at Franklin Garment Company.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Maxine loved to crochet and knit.

On January 6, 1953, she married Berlie Brooks Wimer, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2004.

Mary Jane Rexrode of Harrisonburg, VA

Joy Waybright Shenk of Port Republic, VA

Betty Mae Waybright Smith of Harrisonburg, VA

One brother –

James Waybright of Franklin, WV

And a number of nieces and nephews who fondly called her "Aunt Mackie"

She was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Eye and one sister, Trudy Mozelle Eye.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at North Fork Memorial Cemetery at Riverton, WV with Elder David Hartman officiating.

There will be no visitation.
