Maurice A. Kimble's Obituary
Maurice Adam Kimble, 91, of Jake Hill Road, Upper Tract, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
He was born July 17, 1925 in Upper Tract, West Virginia and was the son of the late Riley Vernon Kimble and Maude Grace (Kimble) Kimble.
He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked for Kimble Motor Sales and the Civil Service, and retired after working for twenty-five years with the Corps of Engineers at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. He was a member of the Christ Central Community Church and American Legion Post #30.
On July 22, 1951, he married his wife of sixty-five years, Julia Grace Bowers Kimble, who survives.

A son - John Riley Kimble of Alexandria, VA
A daughter - Lois (& Charles) Hagerup of Little Rock, AR
Two sisters -
Myrtle Lough (Stanley) of Cincinnati, OH
Sue Dudley of Monterey, VA
Five grandchildren -
Samantha Kimble, Olivia Kimble, Jennifer Kimble, Melissa Kimble and Jessica Gray
And four great-grandchildren -
Zoie Griffith, Sadie Griffith, Emma Griffith and Jonah Griffith
Preceding him in death were three brothers - Roy Kimble, Ralph Kimble and Herbert Kimble and two sisters - Margie Hedrick and Hazel Simmons.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 PM Sunday, November 20 at Christ Central Community Church in Upper Tract, West Virginia.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday at Christ Central Community Church with Pastor Sam Harper officiating.
Interment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract.
Military services will be conducted by members of the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.
