Mary Lou Sites, 96, of Franklin, WV passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Sunnyside.

Born December 4, 1922 at Port Deposit, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Jacob Aulde and Mary Mathews Aulde.

She graduated from Franklin High School, worked for the War Ration Board, and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church and the Farm Women's Club. Mary Lou was a gourmet cook, enjoyed classical music, entertaining, square dancing and gardening.

On December 31, 1945 she married Dr. Charles J. Sites, who preceded her in death on June 23, 2001.  A brother, Benjamin Aulde also predeceased her.

Surviving are -

One daughter - Susan Malpass (& Liston E.) of Raleigh, NC

One son - Charles J. Sites, Jr. of Franklin, WV

And one grandson - Clark Malpass of Raleigh, NC

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 29 at Franklin Presbyterian Church, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday with Rev. Fletcher Hutcheson, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
