Mrs. Mary "Louise" Mullenax, 85, of Upper Tract, West Virginia died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. She was born December 13, 1926 at Upper Tract, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Earle Wheaton and Lena Heavener Wheaton. A 1945 graduate of Franklin High School, she worked as a receptionist/secretary at Monongahela Power Company and retired from Atlantic Oil Company after thirty years of service. Louise was a member of the Upper Tract Presbyterian Church, where she had served as Elder, Secretary, Treasurer and Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the South Branch Ruritan Club, where she served as Secretary and was a member of the South Branch Home Demonstration Club. On October 21, 1951, she married Hobert Mullenax, who survives. Also surviving are - One son - Gary (& his wife, Radonna) Mullenax of Martinsburg, WV Two sisters - Patricia (& her husband, David) Swecker of Franklin, WV Emma Kate Hathaway of Upper Tract, WV One brother - Richard (& his wife, Carolyn) Wheaton of Leesburg, FL And two grandsons - Phillip Mullenax and Gregory Mullenax She was preceded in death by one brother, William Earle Wheaton and one sister, Jean Mays. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Upper Tract Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kevin Hand officiating. Burial will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery at Upper Tract, West Virginia. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:00 AM Tuesday, December 27.
