Mary Frances Lane, 74, of Berkeley Springs, WV, died on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, MD. She was born April 18, 1937 at Cass, WV and was the daughter of the late Lena Gum. Mary attended public schools in Cass and had worked with Zero Pack and Winchester Medical Center. She enjoyed shopping, gardening and had been a homemaker in recent years. Surviving are - Two sons - James Franklin Lane of Wardensville, WV Richard Allen Lane of Berkeley Springs, WV Two daughters - Barbara Jean Merchant of Berkeley Springs, WV Frances Kay Kern of Smithsburg, MD One sister - Connie Blake of Culpeper, VA One brother - Danny Galford of Chicago, IL Twelve grandchildren Eight great-grandchildren And several nieces and nephews A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Turner Cemetery in Cass. Friends and family are invited to a reception immediately following the service at the Cass Community Center.
